Leadership With a Story
Empowering Conversations Around Mental Health to Break Through the Stigma
BREAK the STIGMA
The #1 Tool for breaking through the STIGMA around mental health is to START THE CONVERSATION

“Listening from the Heart” evolved from an initiative co-created with my daughter during the depths of her battle with anxiety in 2018.   “The Anxious Generation: Fireside Chats” were a proactive (and emotional) listening model to gather parents/family, students and teachers to be heard and understood.

Looking the other way is no longer an option when it comes to the mental health of our children, student success and workforce productivity.

We bring mental health conversations to the front burner. We empower shared storytelling to help others feel not so alone, to create connection and to start the conversation.

“Listening from the Heart” inspires, informs and empowers others to take the next step or ask the next question.

THE RISKS ARE TOO HIGH NOT TO ACT

There is an economic and human cost to ignoring the global mental health crisis.

It is every single one of us.  It is what makes us a “whole” person at home, at school and at work.

Mental Health conditions cost the global economy $1 Trillion per year. (W.H.O.)

For every $1 invested in addressing mental health issues, there is a $4 return in improved health and productivity.

It takes proactive leadership and authentic conversations to overcome the global mental health crisis.

The power of "Listening from the Heart" helps break through the STIGMA and start the conversation around mental health issues.
